Data Analyst/Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support critical plant operations, the contract Data Analyst/Business Analyst/Designer will work remotely for 6+ months, focusing on building and configuring Emerson Ovation HMI graphics and ensuring seamless integration with DCS/SCADA systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build, modify, and configure Emerson Ovation HMI graphics and operational displays
• Map and link graphical elements to DCS/SCADA points and live process data tags
• Provide real-time troubleshooting and adjustments during commissioning and startup phases

Required qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience in HMI/SCADA design and configuration
• Expert-level knowledge of Emerson Ovation architecture and industrial communication protocols
• Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Understanding of turbine and process control systems in power plants
• Ability to work within regulated operational frameworks, such as nuclear facilities and public utilities
