Data Analyst Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting the Special Comprehensive Immunization Program, the full-time International PAHO Consultant - Data Analyst will strengthen electronic immunization registries and information systems, enhance data analysis capabilities, and promote evidence-based decision-making in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate RIAP2030, updating and maintaining indicator monitoring tools to support regional analysis of immunization progress
• Systematize vaccination policies and promote analytical tools for coverage monitoring and decision-making
• Develop capacity-building courses for health personnel to enhance analytical skills tailored to national needs

Required qualifications

• A university degree in health (Medicine, Nursing, etc.) and a graduate degree in Public Health or related fields
• At least 7 years of experience in health management and data analysis from health information systems
• Demonstrated experience in immunization programs
• Experience in the development or use of vaccination information systems is desirable
• Intermediate proficiency in Spanish or English is required, with deliverables accepted in either language
