Data Analyst for Specialty Care
Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs' Specialty Care Program Office, the full-time Data Analyst for Specialty Care will develop, test, implement, and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports, utilizing tools such as Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI to provide critical insights for program management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop computerized models and queries to analyze data patterns and create visualizations for program direction
- Ensure integration of contractor-developed databases and dashboards with existing VA systems to enhance data quality and efficiency
- Coordinate with the contract support team and SCPO members to align data products with program objectives and present findings to management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Minimum of three years of experience in data analysis, including developing visualizations for business decisions
- Experience with VA information systems and databases
- Proficiency in Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, and/or Power BI
- Ability to clearly present data findings to non-technical stakeholders
