Job Summary
Joining a remote-first team, the full-time Data Analyst - Fraud Intelligence will design evaluation frameworks, analyze vendor data quality, and translate findings into actionable intelligence to enhance fraud detection strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute structured evaluation frameworks for assessing incoming data assets from vendor partners
- Conduct lift analyses and backtests to quantify the value of new data signals against existing fraud detection methods
- Collaborate with fraud leadership to define evaluation criteria based on real fraud outcomes and document results for internal knowledge
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related analytical role, preferably in fraud or fintech
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Solid understanding of evaluation metrics and statistical concepts, including A/B testing and precision/recall
- Experience working with external datasets and assessing data quality and signal value
- Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders
