Data Analyst I
Job Summary
To support Blood, Organs, and Other Tissues surveillance for the Medical Product Safety Branch (MPSB), the remote Data Analyst I will manage technical content for data collection protocols, develop training for healthcare facilities, and perform data management and analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and review technical content of protocols and data collection forms for the NHSN Biovigilance Component
- Develop and deliver training materials and webinars for healthcare facilities participating in the NHSN Biovigilance Component
- Perform data management, validation, and cleaning, while collaborating with various organizations on transfusion-related adverse event surveillance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related field
- 1 - 2 years of experience in public health data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python
- Knowledge of data management systems and application of data management software
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
