Data Analyst I
Job Summary
Supporting Antibiotic Stewardship activities, the remote Data Analyst I will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop analytic plans, perform data analysis using SAS and/or Python, and create resources for healthcare workers and the public.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultation support for the development of scientifically based resources and web content on antibiotic stewardship
- Develop analytic plans for research studies and perform data analysis on large datasets
- Collect and interpret data to inform public health projects and participate in CDC response activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field
- 1 - 2 years of experience in public health data analysis and statistical reporting
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python
- Knowledge of data management systems and government procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
