Data Analyst II

Job Summary

To support healthcare-related projects, the full-time remote Data Analyst II will analyze complex datasets, manage data cleaning and statistical modeling, and produce data visualizations to deliver high-quality insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare-related data from sources such as CMS and MEPS, and report findings using statistical software
• Construct and clean large datasets, applying statistical methods to manage and interpret research data
• Prepare technical documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in results tailored to client needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 3-5 years of quantitative research experience; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Programmer or Data Analyst, with proficiency in SAS and familiarity with Python or R
• Expertise in cleaning, analyzing, and modeling large healthcare datasets, including Medicare and Medicaid claims
• Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and advanced analytic methods
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
