Job Summary

Providing mid- to senior-level statistical support, the full-time remote Data Analyst II will conduct analyses for the International Infection Control Program, design databases, and prepare reports while collaborating with CDC investigators.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct statistical analyses and collaborate with CDC investigators to create code and perform data analyses
  • Design and maintain databases using tools like Access and RedCap, ensuring proper data collection for healthcare epidemiology
  • Prepare technical and non-technical reports, presentations, and scientific manuscripts for diverse audiences
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, public health, data science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in statistical or epidemiologic analyses, preferably in public health or healthcare
  • Proficiency in statistical programming software such as SAS, R, Python, or Stata, and database tools like REDCap or Access
  • Experience with cohort and case-control studies, and multivariable statistical modeling
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate findings to scientific and management audiences
