Data Analyst Lead
Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Data Analyst Lead will develop and deliver complex healthcare data sets, act as an internal consultant for reporting and dashboards, and provide business intelligence across multiple departments in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical expert in data mining and extraction from various sources, including electronic health records and claims data
- Collect, analyze, and present comparative data to support decision-making and identify cost and utilization patterns
- Train team members on data tools and processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in data analytics or a related field, with coursework in systems analysis, SQL, and statistics
- 8+ years of experience working with data and creating reports using Business Intelligence or Analytics tools
- 8+ years of demonstrated usage of dimensional databases for reporting purposes
- Preferred: Master's Degree in computer science, business management, health administration, or related fields
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience with managed care applications like GE Centricity, Epic, or Cerner
