Data Analyst QA Engineer

Job Summary

To support a federal data engineering team, the full-time remote Data Analyst/QA Engineer will ensure data accuracy and software quality by designing automated data quality checks, monitoring ETL pipelines, and supporting the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) process.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated data quality checks using AWS Glue tools to validate data integrity and completeness
• Monitor production ETL pipelines and ensure real-time reporting of ETL Load and Gap Reports
• Create and execute test cases and automated tests to verify platform functionality and maintain code coverage standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in data quality engineering, QA engineering, or data analytics
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis
• Experience with AWS Glue data quality tools or equivalent frameworks
• Familiarity with federal secure software development standards and IV&V processes
