Data Analyst with Accounting Focus

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Analyst 3 to provide support to the Corporate Accounting organization, focusing on monthly accounting close activities and systems support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly accounting close activities, including validating intercompany transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Assist the GL Maintenance team with general ledger maintenance, data governance, and UAT support for accounting systems
• Collaborate with accounting partners and IT teams to ensure smooth accounting processes and thorough testing of system changes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting Close Execution
• 3-5+ years of proficiency in SAP Finance or Accounting Systems
• 2-4+ years of experience in executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting and finance systems
• Hands-on experience with ERP changes and finance system testing
• Ability to document issues and collaborate with engineering or IT teams for defect resolution
