Data Analytics Consultant
Job Summary
To support financial institutions in optimizing underwriting and decisioning strategies, the full-time remote Data Analytics Consultant will analyze credit data and loan performance while providing actionable insights to enhance portfolio health and manage risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze credit bureau data and loan performance to evaluate portfolio risk and identify optimization opportunities
- Prepare client-facing reports and dashboards that communicate portfolio performance and risk trends
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate analytical findings into practical lending recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
- 3-6 years of experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting, or lending analytics preferred
- Experience with consumer credit data and bureau reports strongly preferred
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced competency in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Sisense, or similar) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations
