Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data / Analytics Engineer to manage its data infrastructure and support analytics for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipeline infrastructure, including ingestion and transformation processes
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership to deliver analytics that inform business decisions
• Shape AI integration into data workflows, enhancing data quality monitoring and anomaly detection

Required Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, preferably in a high-growth startup
• Strong fundamentals in dbt, with a focus on maintainable model design and documentation
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including schema design and query performance
• Experience building dashboards for business stakeholders using tools like Hex or Looker
• Curiosity about electricity pricing and competitive markets is beneficial but not mandatory
