Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer I to bridge the engineering and analyst teams while managing and scaling the business logic in their data pipeline.

• Operate as a bridge between engineering and analyst teams, contributing to processes that drive daily operations
• Manage and scale the business logic in the data pipeline, essential for customer offerings and business success
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data complexities

Required Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering with a portfolio of projects or early career success
• Proficiency in writing production-ready code in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java, along with SQL
• Knowledge of relational data concepts and the ability to explain data model relationships
• Experience with big data and AI tools for data wrangling and pipeline configuration
• Interest in both engineering and finance, understanding investor evaluations and loan complexities
