Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time Data Analytics Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data analytics solutions using Microsoft technologies, collaborating with stakeholders and managing data models while working remotely or from the Bozeman, MT office.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient data analytics solutions
• Design and maintain scalable data models and integration pipelines within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization

Required qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies
• Extensive knowledge of medallion architecture using Lakehouse, PySpark notebooks, and data pipelines
• Proficiency in designing scalable semantic models for Power BI and DAX
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance principles
• Ability to establish best practices for version control, CI/CD, and deployment of data solutions
