Data & Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To deliver reliable, performant, and intuitive data and analytics tools, the full-time Data & Analytics Engineer will design, build, and operate systems for the Model Factory while collaborating closely with researchers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the data and analytics systems of the Model Factory
• Own the entire data lifecycle of experiment data including modeling, ingestion, retrieval, query, analysis, and retention
• Partner closely with researchers to understand their workflows and ensure alignment with their data and analytics needs

Required qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages
• Proven experience building and operating distributed systems at scale
• Production experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to lead ambiguous and cross-functional initiatives
• Experience with OLAP databases, timeseries databases, or high cardinality datasets is a plus
