Data and AI Integration SME

Job Summary

To support the FirstNet Authority's oversight of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network, the full-time Data and AI Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) will design and maintain data management frameworks, integrate AI and machine learning solutions, and conduct data analytics to enhance cybersecurity and operational oversight, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data management frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across mobile network environments
• Integrate AI and machine learning solutions to enhance cybersecurity capabilities and provide documentation and training for sustained data quality
• Analyze complex data sets and perform various analytics tasks to improve oversight of the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network

Required qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in data and AI management, including database management and AI/ML model integration
• Strong experience with database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization for large-scale systems
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with data pipelines, ETL tools, SQL, Python, and another programming language
• Proficiency with cloud-based database services and experience with API development for AI-driven applications
• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, data analytics, cybersecurity, or a related discipline
