Data and ML Platform Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Data and ML Platform group, the full-time remote Data and ML Platform Manager will oversee the technical direction of data engineering and ML Ops, manage a team of engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the platform that transforms raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution for the Data and ML platform, focusing on data engineering, ML Ops, and system modernization
• Build and scale the engineering team by identifying skill gaps, coaching team members, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous learning
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical direction and influence design decisions related to data and ML

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software or ML engineering, with a focus on data/ML infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience managing ML, Data Engineering, or platform engineering teams
• Proven experience in building or scaling MLOps capabilities and data engineering systems at scale
• Demonstrated ability to grow teams and manage performance through clear expectations and feedback
• Experience driving alignment across Product, Engineering, and Data teams with accountability for outcomes
