Data and Platform Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager (Data and Platform Engineering).

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the architectural vision for the data platform and ensure high-quality, self-service data assets
• Lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the team, delivering platform and infrastructure improvements
• Collaborate with Analytics and Product teams to prioritize platform needs and mentor engineers in data modeling and technical leadership

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in building and maturing data platforms from raw ingestion to governed assets
• Fluency with modern data stack tools such as dbt and cloud warehouses like BigQuery
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling
• Ability to foster collaboration and growth among team members
• Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning in both data modeling and infrastructure
