Data Annotation Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the quality assurance of data projects, the full-time remote Data Annotation Specialist will design and automate QA workflows, manage labeling interfaces, and coordinate freelance annotators while ensuring clarity in annotation guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and run QA workflows, including metrics and quality dashboards
• Build and maintain labeling interfaces in Label Studio, refining layouts and improving efficiency
• Source, onboard, and coordinate freelance annotators, tracking deadlines and deliverables

Required qualifications

• Experience with data analysis, including spreadsheet modeling and quality metrics interpretation
• Strong written communication skills for creating clear annotation guidelines
• Proven ability to coordinate projects and meet deadlines with various stakeholders
• Self-directed with the ability to manage responsibilities independently
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language: Italian, Portuguese, or Polish
