Job Summary

To establish a scalable data ecosystem, the full-time remote Data Architect will define and govern the enterprise data architecture for an Azure-based platform, focusing on integrating Avatar NX, Salesforce, and financial systems while reverse engineering the Avatar NX EHR data model for accurate reporting and governance.

Key responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end Azure data architecture and establish canonical data models
• Define integration patterns and standardize data contracts across various systems
• Implement data governance standards and lead the development of a data catalog and lineage framework

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data engineering
• Hands-on experience designing data platforms in Azure and integrating EHR, CRM, and financial systems
• Proven ability to reverse engineer undocumented schemas and translate complex data structures into enterprise models
• Strong expertise in relational and dimensional data modeling with advanced SQL Server skills
