Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of their enterprise data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architectural strategy for migrating on-premises data systems to AWS
• Lead the architecture of large-scale NoSQL data systems and oversee the design of a Snowflake-based data platform
• Establish data governance standards and partner with security teams on risk mitigation for data infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, or data architecture roles
• Strong experience with large-scale NoSQL databases such as Couchbase or DynamoDB
• Deep expertise in building cloud-native data platforms on AWS
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or similar technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
