Data Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Architect will manage ETL/ELT processes, implement data integration solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data architecture for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Glue, Kinesis, and other data integration tools
• Manage and optimize data workflows, including CDC from various databases and legacy systems
• Collaborate with teams to ensure effective data governance and entity resolution strategies

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS data services, including Glue, DMS, and Kinesis
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques
• Experience with data modeling and architecture design in cloud environments
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and data lakehouse concepts
• Background in working with legacy systems and mainframe data extraction
