Data Architect

Job Summary

Leading the architecture strategy for a centralized data platform, the remote Data Architect will design scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, create real-time and batch data pipelines, and define data governance standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture strategy for a centralized data platform built on Microsoft Fabric
• Design lakehouse and warehouse patterns that support curated, scalable, and reusable data assets
• Partner with engineering, security, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical roadmaps and solutions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data architecture roles with ownership of enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong experience designing lakehouse and/or warehouse architectures with layered data patterns
• Expertise in SQL and Python and/or PySpark
• Experience architecting data solutions on Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure or equivalent cloud platforms
