Data Architect

Job Summary

As the founding Data Architect for an AI-native platform, this full-time remote position will design and build data and knowledge systems, managing application data end-to-end while ensuring scalability, security, and governance across various data stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of application data across cloud, local, and offline-capable environments
• Design and implement organizational memory systems, including knowledge records and semantic chunks
• Build reliable event-driven and batch processing pipelines, ensuring production reliability and quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 5-7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related technical roles
• 3+ years of experience owning data architecture or platforms end-to-end
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines and familiarity with graph databases or structured memory systems
