Data Architect

Job Summary

To support a global enterprise's transition to a modern data platform, the contract Data Architect will design scalable data models, lead the development of core business concepts, and translate source system behavior into actionable data structures while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design practical, scalable data models across enterprise data domains, focusing on dimensional models and semantic-ready structures
• Lead the design of the Refined layer model to ensure consistent core business concepts across various applications
• Collaborate with Data Governance to align models with schema standards and guide teams on business rules and quality controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data platform design
• Strong hands-on experience with dimensional modeling and modern cloud data platforms
• Proficient in SQL and able to guide transformation logic across teams
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies
