Data Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Architect will serve as a hands-on technical expert, contributing to the design of cloud and data architecture while collaborating with enterprise architects and cross-functional teams to shape solution architectures and support modernization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to shape solution architectures aligned with IT data strategy
• Design and support the modernization and migration of complex systems to scalable cloud architectures
• Evaluate and prototype new technologies, providing input into business cases and architectural standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience delivering data-intensive solutions in roles such as data engineering or analytics engineering
• Demonstrated solution design ownership for moderately complex initiatives as an architect or senior engineer
• Proven experience in multiple data-focused roles, including Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Database Administrator
• Strong expertise in designing data and cloud architecture, preferably with AWS, supporting scalability and security
