Data Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing data architecture team, the contract Data Architect will focus on building integration layers and highly customized solutions while utilizing AWS services and Python coding skills, working remotely from Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and manage customized data integration solutions and scenarios
• Write efficient SQL queries and maintain Python code for data processing
• Communicate proactively about potential data issues and audit trails

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or similar roles
• 3+ years of programming experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda and Glue
• Strong understanding of OLTP systems, ODS reporting needs, and dimensional database practices
