Data Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and governance of an enterprise data ecosystem, the full-time salaried Data Architect will work remotely to develop scalable data architectures, optimize data platforms, and ensure data quality while collaborating with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy for scalability, performance, reliability, and security
• Oversee the development of ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data platforms in partnership with engineering teams
• Establish data governance standards and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent data usage and quality

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering with a strong background in enterprise-scale data architectures
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency in Python and distributed data processing frameworks like PySpark
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
