Data Architect

Job Summary

To support the enterprise data architecture initiatives, the contract EDP Data Architect will own and maintain modeling standards, govern the conformed data model, and provide architectural guidance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including patterns and standards for data structure and integration across all domains
• Define and uphold modeling and architecture standards across medallion layers to ensure consistency in designs executed by various teams
• Lead the technical implementation of the data governance framework, ensuring effective metadata management and data lineage architecture

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of data architecture experience with enterprise-level ownership
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and expertise in BigQuery
• Proven ownership of a canonical enterprise data model and dimensional modeling standards
• Experience designing data governance architecture focused on technical implementation
• Familiarity with data catalog or metadata management platforms such as Dataplex or Collibra
