Job Summary
To lead the design and modernization of enterprise data solutions in a cloud-first environment, the fully remote Data Architect will serve as a strategic advisor, focusing on designing scalable Azure-based data architectures that support analytics, reporting, and operational data needs.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evaluate end-to-end data architectures leveraging Azure data services and cloud-native technologies
- Partner with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to define scalable and secure data solutions
- Guide implementation teams on data modeling, pipeline design, performance optimization, and governance
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise data engineering
- Strong expertise with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Synapse Analytics
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud architecture principles
- Experience evaluating and recommending enterprise-scale data architecture solutions
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred; oncology experience is a plus
