Data Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and modernization of enterprise data solutions, the contract Data Architect will work remotely to create scalable Azure-based data architectures that support analytics and operational needs while serving as a strategic advisor to business and technical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evaluate end-to-end data architectures utilizing Azure data services and cloud-native technologies
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to define secure and scalable data solutions
- Develop architectural standards and guide implementation teams on data modeling and performance optimization
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise data engineering
- Strong expertise with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud architecture principles
- Experience with data governance, security, and performance tuning strategies
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred, with oncology experience as a plus
