Data Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time remote Data Architect will design and implement cloud and data architectures, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to modernization initiatives while evaluating emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Shape solution architectures aligned with a unified IT data strategy in collaboration with enterprise and senior architects
- Document target state architectures and contribute to the technology roadmap for supported initiatives
- Design and support the migration of complex systems to scalable and secure cloud architectures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience delivering data-intensive solutions in roles such as data engineering or analytics engineering
- Demonstrated solution design ownership for moderately complex initiatives as an architect or senior engineer
- Proven experience in multiple data-focused roles, including Data Engineer and Data Architect
- Strong expertise in designing data and cloud architecture, preferably with AWS, supporting scalability and security
