Data Architect
Job Summary
Leading the architectural strategy and data modeling frameworks for an enterprise data platform, the full-time Data Architect will define the structure and governance of healthcare data across various sources while optimizing the Snowflake ecosystem and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define and govern the data architecture roadmap on the Snowflake platform, establishing technical standards and integration patterns
- Design and standardize a multi-layered data architecture, including core data modeling patterns tailored for complex healthcare datasets
- Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to enforce HIPAA compliance and implement data governance standards
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Platform roles with a proven track record in cloud data platforms
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including designing and optimizing enterprise data solutions
- Strong expertise in Medallion Architecture design patterns and cloud data warehouse principles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data modeling and schema design
- Deep experience with Python for data platforms and API integrations
