Job Summary
To support a DHS program, the remote Principal Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture, ensuring data quality and governance for mission-critical systems while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, validation, and documentation of data remediation approaches and analytical methods for AI/ML solutions
- Ensure data approaches align with the LESA Data Quality Potential Error Inventory and comply with DHS/ICE policies
- Oversee the integration of AI-driven models and data quality tools while facilitating user training on analytics processes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- At least eight years of experience in data science or advanced analytics with hands-on experience in designing analytical solutions
- Demonstrated experience in applying advanced statistical techniques, machine learning, and AI to real-world datasets
- Proficiency with modern data analytics toolsets such as SQL, Python, R, and Databricks
- Required SECRET Security clearance or ability to obtain one for accessing sensitive data
