Data Architect Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Data Architect Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Fabric to lead the architecture and delivery of modern data platforms, focusing on scalable solutions and serving as a technical advisor to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms using the Medallion Architecture framework
• Translate complex business requirements into robust data platform designs, including ingestion, transformation, and real-time analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver proof-of-concepts and production-grade implementations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platform roles
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake and Data Factory
• Strong proficiency with Delta Lake format and experience designing star schemas for BI consumption
• Proficiency with PySpark/Spark Structured Streaming within Fabric notebooks
• Experience leading or advising enterprise client engagements as a principal or senior consultant
