Data Architect Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Data Architect Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Fabric, the role focuses on leading the architecture and delivery of modern data platforms, translating business requirements into scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms using the Medallion Architecture framework
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex business needs into robust data platform designs
• Collaborate with teams to deliver proof-of-concepts, accelerators, and production-grade implementations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platform roles
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake and Data Factory
• Strong proficiency with Delta Lake format and experience designing star schemas for BI consumption
• Proficiency with PySpark/Spark Structured Streaming within Fabric notebooks
• Experience leading or advising enterprise client engagements as a principal/senior consultant
