Data Architect / Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the full-time remote Data Architect / Database Administrator will serve as a subject matter expert on data architecture and cloud-based data platforms, focusing on database design, administration, and integration support.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for database design, structure, and best practices across relational and cloud-native database platforms
• Provide expert-level consulting on database architecture and optimization, particularly in cloud environments
• Design, implement, and maintain databases supporting both transactional and analytical workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Database Architect, with at least 2+ years in a cloud-based environment
• Deep expertise in database design principles, normalization, indexing, and query optimization
• Proven experience with ETL
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake Certified, AWS Certified Database - Specialty)
