Data Architect Lead
Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end architecture and engineering standards for modern data platforms, the full-time Data Architect Lead will partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions while remaining hands-on with implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and evolve target-state data architecture and integration patterns across warehouse/lakehouse ecosystems
- Lead the design and build of robust ELT/ETL pipelines using Python and distributed processing technologies
- Establish data quality frameworks and partner with governance/security stakeholders to ensure compliant data handling
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years in data engineering and/or data architecture roles with ownership of enterprise-scale data solutions
- Expert-level experience in designing modern data platforms and scalable data delivery approaches
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong engineering discipline
- Proven experience with cloud data technologies, including Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Solid workflow orchestration experience with Apache Airflow and managed platforms such as Astronomer
