Data Architect/Modeler
Job Summary
To support the development of a cutting-edge data analytics platform, the contract Data Architect/Modeler will design and implement enterprise-wide data models and architecture, focusing on data modeling principles within a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting
- Define and implement best practices for data modeling in a lakehouse environment, ensuring models effectively support business needs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure alignment with business objectives
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or database design
- Expertise in data modeling methodologies, including Dimensional (Star/Snowflake) and Data Vault
- Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and Delta Lake architecture
- Strong SQL skills for data modeling and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and integration strategies
