Data Architect with Microsoft Fabric

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Data Architect with Microsoft Fabric Subject Matter Expertise, the successful candidate will lead transformative projects to design and implement scalable data platforms, optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, and drive DataOps practices using Azure technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure data architectures following Medallion patterns
• Build and maintain complex ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
• Lead the migration of on-premises data warehouses to Azure, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, BI, and Cloud Data Engineering
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, including ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Synapse Analytics
• Strong proficiency in Python (PySpark), SQL, and data modeling techniques
• Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX and large dataset optimization
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep) and hybrid cloud integration
