Data Architecture & Governance Director

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of data architecture and governance capabilities, the full-time remote Associate Director of Data Architecture & Governance will manage enterprise data domains, ensuring the trustworthiness and reusability of data assets while acting as the technical bridge between business data owners and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own data architecture and governance delivery for assigned enterprise data domains, translating target-state architecture into actionable models and controls
• Define and maintain Master Data Management artifacts, driving their adoption across source and consuming systems
• Operationalize data governance within the development lifecycle by implementing data quality rules and access controls as delivery requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise integration, with at least 2 years in a design authority role
• Demonstrated experience in defining and delivering Master Data Management capabilities
• Hands-on experience with enterprise iPaaS or integration platforms and API-based integration design
• Proven experience implementing data governance controls within an active delivery lifecycle
