Data Associate Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Data Associate Engineer will analyze and validate data, develop reports and dashboards, and execute ETL processes while collaborating with senior team members and business users.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and validate existing data routines, assisting with data transformation and presentation
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to design and develop data models and ETL processes
• Write and execute complex SQL stored procedures and support the Software Engineering team with data analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Python)
• Understanding of database design and implementation concepts
• Familiarity with data exchange formats and data movement concepts
• Ability to analyze and solve a variety of problems effectively
