Data Associate Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Data Associate Engineer will analyze data needs, develop reports and dashboards, and execute ETL processes while collaborating with senior team members and business users.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and validate existing data routines, assisting with data transformation and presentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data models and ETL processes
• Write and execute complex SQL stored procedures and support data analysis for the Software Engineering team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Python)
• Understanding of database design, data exchange formats, and data movement concepts
• Ability to analyze and solve a variety of problems
• Experience with data analysis and validation techniques
