Data Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Data Automation Engineer will design and implement data automation solutions for Azure cloud platforms, translating business requirements into AI-based solutions while developing high-performing data pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data automation solutions for Azure cloud-based data lake, SQL, and NoSQL platforms
- Develop high-performing data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services, including Data Factory and Apache Spark Notebooks
- Collaborate with teams to create data solutions that address operational needs and optimize data pipelines
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in data automation or data engineering roles
- Proficient in scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or PySpark
- Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Data Factory for ETL solutions
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
