Data Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support data automation initiatives, the contract-to-hire GenAI Data Automation Engineer will design and maintain data pipelines in AWS, develop ETL/ELT processes, and leverage Generative AI frameworks to enhance data workflows, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines in AWS and develop ETL/ELT processes for data movement between various systems
• Integrate AWS Connect CRM data into the enterprise data pipeline and build conversational BI interfaces for natural language access to data
• Implement CI/CD best practices for data pipelines and ensure security and compliance through various AWS services

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of data engineering and automation experience
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS services such as S3, RDS, and Glue
• Familiarity with Apache Flume, Kafka, and LLM/Gen AI frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Ability to obtain Federal government Public Trust clearance
