Data Capture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Capture Specialist to ensure timely processing of medical claims by investigating and resolving carrier issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate insurance carriers from client electronic demographic files
• Research pending medical charges to identify appropriate carriers
• Utilize cZar Reports to prioritize clients by volume, aging, and SLA

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred medical billing experience with explanation of benefits (EOBs) and AR follow-up
• Experience analyzing and interpreting medical insurance plan information
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain professionalism in stressful situations
