Data Capture Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Data Capture Representative will enter, verify, research, review, and update insurance data remotely, ensuring accuracy and compliance while making necessary payments and clarifying information through outbound calls.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve escrow disbursement discrepancies by researching loans and contacting insurance agencies for required information
• Review insurance documents requiring additional research and update loan insurance information through website exploration
• Disburse insurance premiums and enter updates to insurance data in the computer system while adhering to department procedures

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum two years of data entry or customer service experience in a Mortgage or Banking environment preferred
• Basic understanding of mortgage escrow accounts or homeowners insurance
• Proficient computer skills and accurate keyboarding abilities, particularly in MS Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
