Job Summary
Acting as the key Subject Matter Expert for sound control in mission-critical infrastructure, the full-time remote Data Center Acoustics Lead will manage acoustic planning, design, and modeling while collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide site design and evaluate regulatory impacts.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in Due Diligence and Campus Planning sessions to guide site selection and minimize environmental noise impacts
- Evaluate consultant-led noise models to ensure compliance with local zoning laws and recommend mitigation strategies for high-risk sites
- Design and refine standard sound attenuation products while developing and maintaining program documentation and modeling standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in acoustic modeling
- Strong understanding of sound-attenuation and mitigation systems for large-scale cooling and diesel generator equipment
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for pertinent codes, regulations, and standards
- Familiarity with CadnaA or SoundPLAN
