Data Center Administrator

Job Summary

To support a growing data center environment, the full-time Data Center Administrator will manage the lifecycle of servers and network equipment, coordinate facility maintenance, and ensure optimal operation of all data center components in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Share responsibility for 24x7 support of data center specific issues with local team members
• Manage the entire lifecycle of servers, storage, and network equipment, including maintenance and recycling
• Coordinate and supervise facility maintenance while ensuring compliance with environmental policies

Required qualifications:

• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs
• Experience in a production data center environment is highly preferred
• Understanding of data center power and cooling infrastructure components is preferred
• Deep understanding of server components and repair is preferred
• Basic understanding of the Linux command line interface is preferred
